MEDCLOCK Setup Guide
What This Device Does
MedClock helps remind you when medication needs to be taken.
By enabling the premium version, you not only receive reminders to take your medication,
but MedClock can also notify a selected contact by sending them an SMS message.
In the Box
- MedClock device
- USB power cable
- Instruction card
Step 1 – Power On
- Plug the device into power using the USB cable.

The device will turn on automatically and display the user settings page.
Step 2 – Connect to WiFi

On your phone, open WiFi settings and connect to the network called MEDCLOCK.

Wait about 10 seconds. Your phone should open the setup page automatically.
Press “Allow device to connect to network” if prompted.
If the page does not open, open a web browser and go to:
192.168.4.1
Step 3 – Enter Your Details (Subscription Users)
For subscription members who would like to receive SMS alerts, enter the following:
- The user’s name
- The phone number you want to receive alerts

Your subscription key
(visit www.vexian.com.au/MedClock to view plans)
- Your WiFi name and password
Wait for MedClock to scan available WiFi networks.
If your network is not visible, press Scan again and wait 10 seconds.
- Enter up to 10 medications with their corresponding times

The first and last medication time will send an SMS alert.
All other medications will alarm only and will not send a message.
- Set your timezone to allow automatic time correction

Only set a Manual Time if the clock fails to sync correctly.
- Press Submit
Step 3 – Enter Your Details (Non-Subscription Users)
- The user’s name

Do not enable “Send SMS Alerts” unless you have a valid subscription key.
Enabling this without a key may cause device errors.
- Your WiFi name and password
- Up to 10 medication times
- Your timezone for automatic time correction

Only enable Manual Time if MedClock fails to sync
or if you are not using WiFi.
Step 4 – Test

Medication can be acknowledged up to 3 hours early.
For example, if medication is set for 9:00am but you leave at 6:30am,
you may take the medication at 6:30am and press the button.

Check that all medications display at the correct times.
MedClock may fail under rare circumstances and should only be used
as a secondary reminder.
- Press the MedClock button once.

The device will display all medications entered.
If it is the earliest alarm and you are using a subscription,
a confirmation SMS should be sent.
- Setup is complete ✅
Using MedClock
- Press the button to acknowledge a medication reminder

Medications can be acknowledged up to 3 hours early
for non time-sensitive medications

Subscription users receive up to 2 messages per day
notifying their contact that they are awake and aware of their medication
Important Notes

Subscription users must keep the device connected to WiFi.
Do not share your subscription key.

If WiFi details change, repeat the setup process.

MedClock will not notify if medication is missed.
Always check on family members daily.

To change settings, unplug and re-plug the device to reopen the setup page.
